A revolutionary approach to patient care and communication.
We are Hospital Companions and we are proud to introduce an exciting new service for patients and their families. Our program focuses on companionship and communication which is needed during one of life's most challenging times — a hospitalization. Designed to work in partnership with hospitals, nursing homes, physicians and health care professionals, our program enhances the care one receives and improves the lines of communication between family members and health care providers.
At the heart of our service is a highly competent, very caring Companion. They are there when needed most to provide the support families desperately desire for their loved ones. Families gain peace of mind knowing their loved one is not alone and also benefit from the presence of a health advocate who improves communication among patient, family, physicians and others.
A key component of our program is a highly advanced, yet easy to use web site which patients and family members utilize to communicate. A patient has their own customized Patient Page which gives general information regarding their progress and is updated frequently. Registered users can log in and get up to date information, send well wishes, communicate among each other and more. We also offer a Family Support Program, helping our families connect with other families experiencing similar challenges.
We hope you share in our excitement with our new venture. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us. In the meantime, you can preview our new website at www.hospitalcompanions.com
